The Account Executive (vCIO) provides personalized, strategic guidance to maximize existing IT investments to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved through technology alignment and technology roadmaps.
Reporting to the management, the successful candidate will work strictly with client decision makers, within a dedicated territory, to oversee on-boarding, upgrade, refresh, or implementation projects; devise strategic planning and technological recommendations that facilitate efficiency improvements and growth; and provide overall account management functions.
As most clients rely on IT Solutions as their sole technology resource for day-to-day support and project initiatives, the Account Executive (vCIO) position requires strong technical aptitude, and to be equally adept with time-management and problem-solving skills. A successful candidate translates complex IT concepts into actionable business-case drivers, manages client expectations with internal business processes, and is well organized and efficient. The candidate must be able to work with limited supervision and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Serve as trusted technology advisor responsible for defining and directing IT strategy for distinct client list
Ability to balance client account priorities with company’s internal business processes
Engage in IT budget planning and management of day-to-day IT operations
Responsible for all aspects of accurate client invoicing
Perform IT risk planning and implement management strategies to improve overall security posture
Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of businesses, technologies, and personalities
Ability to set and follow through with expectations of C-level contacts via effective verbal and written communication
Strong presentation skills both in-person and virtually using MS Teams
General understanding of on-premises and cloud-based networking environments
General understanding of Microsoft licensing (SPLA, O365, M365, Azure, etc.)
Proven ability to set and manage client expectations
Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to manage multiple client accounts
Primary client advocate ensuring client satisfaction and client retention
Ability to stay current with the latest technology trends, shifts in the market
Proficient in a client-facing role with commitment to outstanding service and support
Ability to manage c-level and senior level relationships with medium and large organizations
Working knowledge and understanding of the latest versions of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office 365, VMware, Citrix, SANs, public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
Ability to document technical environments in a consistent and organized fashion
Ability to follow established processes to produce standard results
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to work as a manager on duty as part of an on-call rotation
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years in IT account management or technical industry, preferably working for a managed service provider, with a keen understanding of the business model and best practices
Proven experience as an Account Executive, or vCIO or in IT sales role
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, or related
IT-related certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional
Working understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework (optional)

Job Responsibilities
Seek out and prospect new client accounts and generate sales opportunities
Participate in the company’s growth by developing opportunities through daily cold calling, networking and prospecting
Reach the established targets of new accounts development
Engage in other business development activities as assigned
Develop and maintain good business relations with potential clients
Fulfill tasks during the new client onboarding process
Assist with and attend company events as they relate to sales and new business acquisition

Job Brief
Do you prefer life mostly on the road to being tied to a desk every day? Then we have the role for you! The Workstation Deployment Team Tech is responsible for setting up and implementing new client workstations using both standard images and build sheets, and at times they’re called upon to perform ad-hoc tasks at client sites such as troubleshooting time-sensitive user and office IT issues. Note that the Workstation Deployment Team Tech works closely and often with our clients so the tech must be friendly and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Great verbal and written communication skills are a must.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Windows 10+ desktop OS deployment and intermediate-level troubleshooting of related issues in Windows and in the BIOS
Have a currently clean driving record (Own a reliable vehicle optional)
Be comfortable with a lot of driving, with non-travel days either being spent at our office in Fort Washington, PA or working from home. Note that IT Solutions reimburses travel using the IRS Standard Mileage Rate, which factors in both fuel costs and vehicle depreciation. Road tolls, parking and any overnight stay costs such as hotel and food are fully compensated.
Participate in a week-long on-call rotation a few times per year
Work well with the IT Solutions service and project coordinators, who assign to the Workstation Deployment Team our tasks
Coordinate with vendors on behalf of the client
